QUANTITY: When we say Phat Filter carbon beds are 2" thick, they are in fact, 2" thick. The same is true when it comes to Phat Filter bed length size; the size we claim is in fact the actual size, not a “rounded-up” dimension to make it seem bigger. So it stands to reason that we can obviously pack more carbon into our fi lters than some others can claim.
QUALITY: Phat Filter’s quality is also backed up by math and science too. ADsorption Yield (adsorption with a “d”) is the key. It tells you how good the carbon is. So how do you find the Adsorption Yield?
It’s an easy equation:
Dry Apparent Density x Butane Number = Adsorption yield

Shipping & Return
xReturns Policy
Returns: We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for most items, except for live plants and perishable goods such as fertilizers, soil, and seeds. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was received. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged upon receipt.
Exchanges
Exchanges: We accept exchanges within 30 days of delivery for most items, except for live plants and perishable goods such as fertilizers, soil, and seeds. To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was received. Shipping charges for the exchanged item are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or damaged upon receipt
Live Plants
Live Plants: We take great care in packing and shipping live plants, but sometimes they may be damaged during transit. If your live plant arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide a photo of the plant and packaging. We will either replace the plant or issue a refund, depending on your preference.
Perishable Goods
Perishable Goods: Due to the nature of perishable goods, we do not accept returns or exchanges for fertilizers, soil, seeds, and other similar items.
Refunds
Refunds: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned item. If the item was received as a gift, a gift certificate will be issued to the customer.
Cancellation
Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours, cancellations are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
