Return & Exchange Policy

General Return Policy

Our merchandise is sold on an outright sale basis and is not subject to return unless mis-shipped, damaged, defective, or eligible for return as per the guidelines below. Please note that any shipments refused for reasons other than freight damage will incur freight charges both ways and a restocking fee.

Eligibility for Returns:

  • Time Frame: Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery for most items, with the exceptions noted below.
  • Condition: To be eligible for a return, items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as when they were received.
  • Exclusions: Live plants, perishable goods such as fertilizers, soil, and seeds are not eligible for return.

Shipping Charges: Shipping charges are non-refundable. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged upon receipt.

Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted within 30 days of delivery for most items, with the same exclusions as noted for returns. Items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in the same condition as when they were received. The customer is responsible for the shipping charges for exchanged items unless the item is defective or damaged upon receipt.

Damage/Shortage/Defective Items Claims

Reporting Damage:

  • Time Frame: Damage in shipment claims on items shipped via FedEx/UPS/etc., must be made within one (1) business day (24 hours) of receipt of the merchandise.
  • Truck Shipments: Upon receiving a truck shipment, examine the shipment carefully before signing the freight bill. If damage or shortage is evident, do not accept the shipment without noting it on the freight bill. Failure to do so may prevent you from filing a claim with the carrier.
  • Required Documentation: A photograph of the damaged product must be included with any damage claim. For assistance, please contact your nearest alluneedgardensupply.com service location.

Shortages and Defects:

  • Claims for shortages and defective items must be reported within one (1) business day (24 hours) of delivery.
  • Merchandise found to be defective will be picked up (or field destroyed if advised) and full credit will be issued, provided the merchandise does not appear to have been abused or misused and is in accordance with the manufacturer's warranty policy.
  • Note: All U Need Garden Supply is not liable for damages, injuries, or loss of revenue as a result of a manufacturer’s defective item.

Live Plants & Perishable Goods

Live Plants: We take great care in packing and shipping live plants. If your live plant arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide a photo of the plant and packaging. We will either replace the plant or issue a refund, depending on your preference.

Perishable Goods: Due to the nature of perishable goods, we do not accept returns or exchanges for fertilizers, soil, seeds, and other similar items.

Refunds

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned item. If the item was received as a gift, a gift certificate will be issued to the customer.

Order Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours, cancellations are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Modifications & Final Notes

We reserve the right to refuse returns or exchanges if the item is not in its original condition or if it has been used. We also reserve the right to modify this Return & Exchange Policy at any time, so please review it frequently.
