EpiShield O by BioWorks is an OMRI Listed revolutionary miticide and insecticide formulated with a unique blend of essential oils, including peppermint and clove oils. Designed for optimal grower convenience, EpiShield O achieves exceptional pest control with significantly lower use rates compared to traditional horticultural oils. For instance, to treat 500 gallons of diluted solution, only 1/3 gallon of EpiShield is required versus 5 gallons of other products.
EpiShield O delivers up to 53% higher mortality rates on mites and aphids, providing effective pest paralysis, suffocation, and desiccation upon contact. This formulation is exempt from REI (Restricted Entry Interval) and PHI (Pre-Harvest Interval) restrictions, allowing for uninterrupted greenhouse operations.

EpiShield O is a versatile solution for managing pests in various agricultural and commercial settings, including greenhouses, shadehouses, interiorscapes, and nurseries. It is suitable for use on outdoor food crops, indoor plants, turfgrass, outdoor shrubs, trees, and ornamentals. The product qualifies for exemption from EPA registration under 25(b) of the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA).
Application Notes:
- Ensure thorough coverage and apply when humidity is less than 90%.
- Avoid spraying in temperatures above 90-95 °F (33-35 °C) and ensure plants are not drought-stressed.
- Conduct a spray test on a few plants before applying to the entire crop.
- Do not tank-mix or rotate with sulfur-based products.
Application Rates:
- Use a fine to medium droplet size for optimal performance.
- Foliar spray to wet (not to runoff).
- Do not allow spray mixture to stand overnight or for prolonged periods.
- Suggested rate: 9 fl oz/100 gal; increase to 12 fl oz/100 gal for high infestation pressure.
- Rate for dipping: 2.7 ml/gal.

xReturns Policy
Returns: We accept returns within 30 days of delivery for most items, except for live plants and perishable goods such as fertilizers, soil, and seeds. To be eligible for a return, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was received. Shipping charges are non-refundable, and the customer is responsible for the return shipping costs unless the item is defective or damaged upon receipt.
Exchanges
Exchanges: We accept exchanges within 30 days of delivery for most items, except for live plants and perishable goods such as fertilizers, soil, and seeds. To be eligible for an exchange, the item must be unused, in its original packaging, and in the same condition as when it was received. Shipping charges for the exchanged item are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is defective or damaged upon receipt
Live Plants
Live Plants: We take great care in packing and shipping live plants, but sometimes they may be damaged during transit. If your live plant arrives damaged, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide a photo of the plant and packaging. We will either replace the plant or issue a refund, depending on your preference.
Perishable Goods
Perishable Goods: Due to the nature of perishable goods, we do not accept returns or exchanges for fertilizers, soil, seeds, and other similar items.
Refunds
Refunds: Refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7-10 business days of receiving the returned item. If the item was received as a gift, a gift certificate will be issued to the customer.
Cancellation
Cancellation: Orders can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order. After 24 hours, cancellations are subject to a 15% restocking fee.
